Overview
Huawei Canada has an immediate 8-16-month Co-op opening for a Researcher role.
Responsibilities- Research and develop state-of-the-art technology in computer vision and machine learning.
- Work on various video / image understanding and synthesis tasks using cutting-edge deep learning and computer vision techniques.
- Consider mobile computing constraints for the optimization of algorithms and machine learning models.
- Experience with applying machine learning or computer vision to real-world problems.
- Able to grasp basic computer vision concepts and techniques.
- Coding in Python, PyTorch or Tensor Flow (at least one).
- OpenCV, mobile app development, photo editing (e.g., Photoshop), image/video generation AI (e.g., Stable Diffusion, Flux) is an asset.
- Academic research experience such as participation in paper publishing is an asset.
