Become a Lab Engineer with Evertz in Markham, Ontario, dedicated to managing the development lab for cutting-edge networking device products. This on-site role prioritizes hands-on skills and technical expertise.

Evertz is seeking an experienced Lab Engineer to support the development of networking devices, including IP switch fabrics and SDI routers. The position involves maintaining cabling, managing hardware, and supporting the CI/CD infrastructure crucial for innovative engineering. Your technical skills will directly contribute to the smooth operation of the lab, ensuring that quality standards are met.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and organize cabling in lab and data center environments

• Reconfigure devices based on project demands and test plans

• Install and troubleshoot lab devices, including AV equipment

• Develop support utility scripts in Python and Bash

• Assist with Jenkins CI infrastructure maintenance

Requirements:

• Diploma or degree in related field

• 1–2 years of Python and Bash experience

• Basic networking knowledge and skills

• Strong organizational and troubleshooting abilities

• Willingness to learn new technologies
