Senior Core Network Engineer Role

Drive innovation as a Senior Core Network Engineer with telMAX, a leader in fibre digital infrastructure. This hands-on role is based in York Region and involves optimizing core routing and services.

As an individual contributor reporting to the Director, Network and Security, you will manage core routing, IPAM, DHCP, and DNS services. Your expertise will help shape the network as telMAX expands its reach in Southern Ontario. Ideal for someone who enjoys taking ownership, you'll be closely involved in infrastructure and automation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee core routing and QFX/MX/ACX fabric operations

• Enhance existing systems and ensure operational resilience

• Document and optimize routing configurations

• Automate network tasks via scripting and templates

• Respond to incidents with swift and effective actions

Requirements:

• Proven experience in carrier-grade networks

• Skilled in eBGP, iBGP, and dual-stack routing

• Familiarity with IPAM, DHCP, and DNS technologies

• Proficient in Juniper (MX/ACX/QFX) platforms

• Bachelor's or diploma in Computer Science or related
