Elevate your career as a Senior GIS QA Analyst with Symbiotic Digital in Peterborough, ON. This onsite role focuses on testing upgraded GIS applications for a significant modernization initiative.
In this four-month contract, you will contribute to critical GIS infrastructure improvements. Your expertise will include planning testing strategies, executing user acceptance testing, and validating application functionality. Collaboration with project teams and stakeholders is essential, ensuring high-quality delivery throughout the software development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
• Advise on testing strategies, plans, and tools
• Organize and execute testing in GUI and non-GUI environments
• Conduct systems integration and user acceptance testing
• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and scripts
• Collaborate with technical leads and stakeholders throughout phases
Requirements:
• Experience establishing testing efforts for complex systems
• Knowledge of QA methodologies and tools
• Proficient in automated testing and version control
• Familiarity with GIS technologies like ArcGIS
• Excellent analytical and communication skills
