In this permanent full-time role, reporting to the IM/IT Primary Care Manager, the Senior Systems Analyst will evaluate, design, and maintain IT solutions that support Nova Scotia Health and its clients. You'll engage with clinical and business stakeholders while troubleshooting application issues and optimizing data retrieval. Your work will directly impact the efficiency of the organization’s IT applications.
Key Responsibilities:
• Evaluate requests for changes to existing systems
• Optimize data retrieval and troubleshoot application errors
• Communicate updates and develop training materials for users
• Maintain system configurations according to best practices
• Collaborate with diverse stakeholders to resolve complex issues
Requirements:
• Degree in Information Technology or relevant field
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in Technology or Business Analysis
• 2+ years in application programming or systems support
• Familiarity with EMRs like Telus Med Access or QHR Accuro
• Certification in ITIL or Project Management preferred
