AI Research Engineer at Huawei

The Computing Data Application Acceleration Lab is seeking a skilled individual for a 12-month contract. This role requires expertise in AI model architectures, computational characteristics, and performance evaluation for next-generation accelerators. You will contribute to enhancing algorithm performance across multiple industries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Track evolution of AI model architectures and requirements

• Analyze computational characteristics for AI training workloads

• Develop frameworks for AI applications and hardware mappings

• Identify efficient inference deployment strategies

• Provide architectural recommendations for AI system performance

Requirements:

• Strong understanding of AI model architectures and trends

• Knowledge of AI accelerators: GPUs, TPUs

• Hands-on experience with AI kernel development, CUDA

• Familiarity with deep learning frameworks:
PyTorch, JAX

• Ph.D. in relevant field is an asset
