Backup Operations Lead

Position: Backup Operations Lead at MNP
Drive impactful backup solutions at MNP as a Backup Operations & Recovery Lead. Contribute to client data integrity with expertise in Veeam and Acronis technologies.

As part of MNP's Managed Services practice, you will take charge as the highest technical escalation point for backup and recovery incidents. Engaging with a diverse team, your role will focus on designing, implementing, and enhancing backup strategies across managed client environments. Your deep technical knowledge and troubleshooting abilities will ensure optimal recovery outcomes and support business continuity objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all Veeam and Acronis backup incidents

• Design and maintain backup and disaster recovery solutions

• Conduct backup health reviews and optimize capacity

• Validate data integrity via recovery testing

• Lead onboarding projects for backup platform modernization

Requirements:

• 5–10 years in enterprise backup support

• Experience with Microsoft 365 and VMware

• Proficient in Veeam and Acronis platforms

• Strong Power Shell scripting skills

• ITIL and Veeam certifications required
