Testing Automation Developer

This is a temporary contractor position for an existing vacancy.

The Testing Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining both automated and manual test scripts to support the SAP S4 implementation project. Reporting to the Manager, SAP S4 Testing, Training, and Quality Assurance, this role collaborates closely with the Testing and QA Lead Coordinator, SAP consultants, business process owners, and external vendors to ensure robust test coverage and effective defect identification.

• Develop and maintain automated and manual test scripts for SAP S4 modules.
• Support the execution of functional, integration, performance, and regression tests.
• Utilize Tricentis suite applications (CIA, Qtest, Tosca, Neo Load) for test automation and management.
• Contribute to the creation and maintenance of test cases and traceability matrices.
• Assist in defect identification, logging, and resolution in collaboration with the QA Lead Coordinator.
• Ensure test scripts and cases comply with established quality standards and project requirements.
• Continuously improve test automation frameworks and methodologies.

• Design and implement automated test scripts using Tricentis Tosca, Qtest, CIA, and Neo Load.
• Develop manual test cases for scenarios not covered by automation.
• Execute test scripts and document results, including defects and anomalies.
• Collaborate with the QA Lead Coordinator to review and refine test cases and defect reports.
• Maintain and update test documentation to reflect changes in SAP S4 functionality.
• Participate in test planning, scheduling, and resource allocation discussions.
• Support the integration of test automation into the overall testing strategy.

This is a hybrid position requiring the contractor to be on site at least 3 days per week at the Markham Project Location.
