Responsibilities- Analyze and determine replenishment requirements to ensure available inventory for sourced finished goods.
- Create truckload inter‑company shipments, maximizing warehouse shipping and receiving efficiencies.
- Manage product supply across the enterprise to meet customer service and supply‑chain objectives for multiple business areas.
- Allocate available production to distribution centers for push distribution environments covering customer orders, inter‑company orders, safety stock, and forecast.
- Act as single point of contact for customer service in identifying supply‑solution alternatives.
- Analyze and determine rules for inventory and replenishment plans that support customer service while minimizing supply‑chain costs.
- Facilitate the review and resolution of potential inventory shortages.
- Identify root cause for product stock‑outs.
- Monitor inventory levels of sourced items and identify opportunities for inventory reduction.
- Support new product launches.
- Support the supply planning manager with projects, routine inventory discussions, and analysis using system and offline tools.
- Review and report Inventory Aging Report monthly and identify aging issues to the Supply Planning Manager, Sales, and Marketing versus Obsolete budget; recommend and act on opportunities to mitigate write‑off cost.
- Responsible for onboarding and training new co‑packers.
- Other responsibilities as assigned.
- Education:
Degree, diploma, or relevant experience. - Experience:
Minimum of two years of inventory management and/or supply‑chain experience; leading projects is preferred. - Desire and ability to identify improvement opportunities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and listening skills.
- Strong computer skills – Microsoft Office and Supply Planning System.
- Analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong organization and time‑management skills.
