Position: Material Planner for Magna Electronics

As a Material Planner, you play a crucial role in maintaining optimal inventory levels while managing material supply using SAP and PLM systems. Your responsibilities will include working with suppliers, logistics providers, and production teams to ensure timely delivery of components and to minimize supply chain costs. This role demands strong analytical skills and the ability to resolve shipping discrepancies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage material planning and inventory control using SAP

• Ensure accuracy of ERP system data and master planning parameters

• Generate precise material releases to suppliers

• Monitor supplier performance and material availability

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize material flow

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in business, engineering, or related field

• Minimum 3 years in materials planning or supply chain

• APICS certification preferred

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel

• Experience with ERP/MRP systems (SAP preferred)
