(Senior) Supply Planning Analyst - 12 Month Contract

Position SummaryThe Supply Planning Analyst is responsible for ensuring supply compliance to support the Consensus Demand Plan, through effectively managing product replenishment, inventory levels by SKU by JMS Distribution Centre (DC) to meet or exceed all critical service, operating working capital (OWC) and financial results.
Essential Job Functions Summary- Inventory Management & Production Planning
- Analyze and determine replenishment requirements to insure available finished goods inventory that supports customer service while minimizing supply chain costs.
- Understand routine work and maintain the data integrity of the Blue Yonder database for supply planning.
- Where applicable, ensure the production schedule is executable by individual plants and co-packers.
- Monitor and manage production adherence and attainment to ensure key supply chain objectives are achieved.
- Able to research basic case fill and short supply issues.
- Act as single point of contact for customer planning in identifying supply solution alternatives (incl. response to daily Inventory Template for addressing inventory or customer order issues).
- Identify & escalate need for inventory allocation (&/or monitoring) when Supply cannot meet Demand Plan.
- Review Inventory Aging Report monthly with the SP Manager and provide root cause for aging inventory. Recommend and action opportunities to mitigate write-off cost.
- Participate and provide supply planning technical expertise within project teams
- Create truckload shipments (inter-company & co-packer) maximizing warehouse shipping and receiving efficiencies.
- Identify inventory imbalances and/or shortages and prepare an appropriate stock transfer to optimize days of supply.
- Manage deployment activities in support of special projects and acquisitions/divestitures.
- University degree or college diploma or relevant experience
- 1 to 5 years of Supply Chain experience (preferably in Supply Planning, Production Planning, Operations, and/or Inventory Management)
- Strong communication (verbal & written)/facilitation skills to build and sustain a wide range of working relationships across multiple functions/sites to drive issue resolution throughout the supply chain.
- Desire and ability to identify improvement opportunities. With demonstrated proficiency in analyzing data for the purpose of identifying root cause analysis and presenting recommendations.
- High proficiency with MS Office products – particularly MS Excel.
- Familiarity with project management concepts and principles is preferred.
- Superior organization and prioritization skill
$63,500 - $91,000 annually
The above reflects the target compensation range for the position at the time of posting. Compensation will be determined based on numerous factors including, but not limited to, skills, work experience, and internal equity considerations.
