Replenishment Analyst

Job Title and Location

Replenishment Analyst – Fixed‑Term Contract (1 Year) – Markham, Ontario. Reports to Replenishment Manager.

• Utilize Fulfillment modules, adhering to Allocation and Replenishment Strategy concepts.
• Translate Merchandise Financial, Promotional, Seasonal and New Store Strategies into Vendor Allocation and Replenishment Strategies.
• Manage and analyze inventory ordering requirements from vendors to distribution centers through to stores, ensuring optimum inventory levels.
• Leverage advanced tools and analysis to determine optimal inventory required to allocate/replenish against forecasted sales to meet budget requirements.
• Set and modify business rules for order generation, days of supply, order schedules, min/max, seasonal activities, safety stock and presentation rules.
• Ensure appropriate service levels at distribution centers and stores.
• Set up new SKUs and substitutions.
• Coordinate inventory/order strategies for stores and warehouses, special orders and in‑store events.
• Investigate inventory exceptions and provide solutions.
• Identify root causes of issues such as out‑of‑stocks and aged inventory through data analysis and recommend solutions.
• Document and communicate key replenishment assumptions.
• Generate regular reports on key metrics for internal and external stakeholders.
• Work with supply chain to manage vendor return and outside freight orders.

• Post‑secondary education in business, supply chain or a related field.
• Minimum 3‑5 years of progressive experience in supply chain with a focus on Inventory Replenishment.
• Basic knowledge of the Merchandise Financial Planning process inputs and outputs.
• Understanding of the balance between service level and inventory reduction.
• Experience using JDA Demand, JDA Fulfillment software modules.
• Retail industry experience, preferably in pet food, supplies and accessories.
• Collaborative experience across Merchandising, Supply Chain, Marketing, Store Operations, Finance and IT.

• Strong experience in MS Office, Word, PowerPoint; advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, advanced formulas and macros.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and multi‑task.
• Self‑directed and motivated to accomplish results independently.
• Strong interpersonal skills to interact with all teams and levels.
• Ability to establish performance indicators to benchmark and track performance.

Targeted salary range: $55,000 – $60,000 annually.
