Sofina Senior Manager Protein Sourcing

Lead sourcing strategies for proteins at Sofina Foods as the Senior Manager, Raw Material Sourcing. This role combines strategic procurement and supplier management in a dynamic work environment.

As a key leader within Sofina Foods, the Senior Manager is responsible for shaping sourcing strategies for various protein ingredients including beef, poultry, and fish. With a focus on fostering supplier relationships and ensuring compliance with food safety standards, you will collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Finance, and Quality to enhance supply continuity and operational performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Establish relationships with global suppliers for protein ingredients

• Develop strategies for maximizing poultry quota value

• Monitor plant operations to optimize inventory levels

• Manage subcontractors for timely delivery and quality

• Address quality issues with suppliers proactively

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field

• 8–15 years in sourcing or procurement

• Experience with protein or agricultural commodities

• Strong negotiation skills and commercial acumen

• ERP experience; SCMP/CPSM/CPIM/MBA an asset
