At Extendicare, the Procurement Specialist plays a crucial role in sourcing and managing supplier agreements for Extendicare locations and partners. The role involves portfolio management, RFx processes, and contract compliance. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders and suppliers, contributing to the overall supply chain efficiency and quality of care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage food and non-food procurement contracts

• Lead RFx processes like RFPs and RFQs

• Analyze spend data to identify savings opportunities

• Support supplier negotiation and contract administration

• Monitor supplier performance for compliance and improvement

Requirements:

• 2–3 years of procurement experience

• Knowledge of food service and hospitality considered an asset

• Strong analytical skills with Excel

• Ability to negotiate and manage contracts

• Excellent communication and project management skills
