Position: Customs Specialist for Logistics Operations
Join our team as a Customs Specialist, overseeing compliance and import/export activities under the CSA program in a fast-paced logistics environment. Your expertise will ensure timely shipment clearance and adherence to trade regulations.

This role reports directly to the Manager of Logistics Distribution Services. You'll manage customs documentation, oversee import operations, and act as the liaison with customs brokers and government agencies. Your focus on regulatory compliance will help improve clearance procedures and facilitate smooth distribution operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and review customs documentation, including invoices and bills of lading

• Ensure accurate tariff classification and duty calculations

• Liaise with customs brokers and freight forwarders

• Oversee CSA import operations, ensuring compliance with CBSA regulations

• Maintain CARM Client Portal activities and account management

Requirements:

• CCS or equivalent customs certification required

• Minimum 3+ years in customs and trade compliance

• Strong knowledge of customs regulations and processes

• Experience working with customs brokers

• Proficiency in SAP and compliance tools
