Procurement Specialist​/Buyer

Our client, a leading manufacturing organization is looking to hire a Electronics Procurement Specialist/ Buyer to join their growing team on a permanent basis.

• Procure and place orders for goods, materials and services.
• Use ERP systems to review material requirements.
• Research and survey buying markets in order to source optimal suppliers.
• Keep material related information up to date and accurate in the ERP system.
• Handle shipping arrangements, and arrange for customer processing when required.
• Work with vendors and suppliers to investigate and resolve billing discrepancies.
• Negotiate return of items to vendors.

• Education:
  
  University or college degree in material managing, purchasing or business administration.
• 8 years of purchasing experience.
• Experience with purchasing electronics an asset.
• Working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems.

• 3 weeks vacation to start.
