Make a meaningful impact as a Maintenance Assistant with Amica Unionville. This casual on-call position offers $20.75 per hour, allowing you to support a vibrant senior community.
As a vital member of the maintenance team, your responsibilities include assisting the Maintenance Coordinator with repairs, inspections, and the overall upkeep of the facility.
Your role directly contributes to the comfort and safety of residents' living environments.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support the Maintenance Coordinator with daily work orders
• Conduct equipment repairs and maintenance in suites
• Perform painting and minor maintenance tasks
• Execute inspections of equipment, pool, and grounds
• Carry out daily fire safety and security checks
Requirements:
• Minimum Grade 12 education required
• Strong English communication skills
• Basic electrical, plumbing, and carpentry knowledge
• Ability to lift and move 50 lbs
• Familiarity with building codes is a plus
