Markham Arena Maintenance Labourer Position

As part of the Recreation Department, you will report to the Community Facilities Supervisor and manage various maintenance and cleaning tasks. Key Responsibilities:

• Open and close facilities promptly as scheduled

• Operate Zamboni and other maintenance equipment

• Conduct thorough cleaning and facility upkeep tasks

• Address patron requests related to facility management

• Lead part-time staff and maintain operational efficiency

Requirements:

• Secondary school diploma or equivalent

• One year of relevant maintenance experience preferred

• Current First Aid and CPR certification necessary

• Familiarity with maintenance equipment operations

• Must be physically fit for job responsibilities
