The Housekeeping Aide at Age Care Woodhaven is responsible for keeping the long-term care environment clean and sanitary. The role involves various tasks such as cleaning, mopping, and disinfecting, ensuring every area is safe for residents and staff. Previous housekeeping experience is beneficial, and applicants are encouraged to apply regardless of their Canadian work experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Mop, wax, and polish floors regularly

• Clean lounge areas, activity rooms, and offices

• Dust and order furniture in resident areas

• Sanitize sinks, toilets, and high-touch surfaces

• Remove waste and keep common areas tidy

Requirements:

• Previous experience in housekeeping preferred

• Basic education equivalent to public school

• Strong attention to cleanliness and hygiene

• Willingness to support resident health

• Reliable and effective work habits
