Use vacuuming and mopping skills as a Light Duty Cleaner while maintaining designated building areas through thorough custodial service.
This Light Duty Cleaner performs general custodial requirements and assigned related duties. Work includes cleaning equipment use, floor care, washroom fixture cleaning, waste removal, dispenser restocking, and periodic equipment checks. Health and safety procedures guide daily tasks.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform general custodial duties in designated building areas
- Vacuum carpets and complete spot cleaning
- Sweep and mop floors using cleaning equipment
- Restock soap, towels, tissue, and sanitary napkin dispensers
- Complete periodic equipment checks and follow safety procedures
- Previous cleaning experience is an asset
- Communicate effectively verbally and in writing
- Use cleaning equipment including I-mop and vacuum
- Reliability, motivation, enthusiasm, and willingness to assist
- Physical ability to carry out position duties
