Composites Technician-Afternoon Shift

You’ll learn laminating and cutting-edge skills with advanced materials, and gain experience with technologies such as autoclaves, molds, carbon fiber layups, structural bonding, and more. ** Key Responsibilities
**** You’ll be hands-on from day one, all training is provided inhouse.
*
* You will be:

* Learning how to laminate and vacuum bag carbon fiber and other composite materials for curing in an autoclave
* Working with autoclaves and ovens to cure Composite Materials
* Getting hands-on experience in the building and assembly of composite components and substructures
* Cutting, trimming, bonding, and finishing composite parts to precise specifications
* Gaining knowledge in how to interpret lamination and assembly manuals
* Growing your abilities in helping create master molds and patterns
* Maintaining high standards for quality, accuracy, and attention to detail
* Collaborating closely with supervisors, leads, and QA to meet project timelines and quality expectations
* Keeping your work area safe, clean, and organized
* Participating in continuous improvement activities, including Kaizen, GEAR and ISO-based processes
** What We’re Looking For
**** You don’t need to be an expert — you just need the right mindset:
*** With training, you are comfortable using sanders, grinders, cutters, drills, gram scales, scissors, knives and other power tools
* You have a willingness to learn how to read composite manuals and follow detailed instructions
* You are motivated by problem-solving and using hands-on skills
* You have a willingness to learn about composite materials, resins, and adhesives
* You have the basics around a computer to enter your timesheet
* You are team-oriented, dependable, and safety-focused
* You are passionate about building cool things — especially motor sport-related components
