We’re looking for a Day Shift Production Supervisor to lead daily operations in our foot orthotic manufacturing facility. You’ll guide a dedicated production team, drive workflow efficiency, and champion continuous improvement. Your leadership will directly influence quality, safety, and productivity across the plant.

• Supervise, coach, and mentor production staff to achieve performance targets
• Run daily huddles to align on priorities, safety, and production goals
• Train and develop team members to support growth and accountability

• Manage day‑to‑day production schedules and task assignments
• Monitor workflow and adjust resources to maintain efficiency
• Troubleshoot operational issues and implement corrective actions quickly

• Apply Lean and Six Sigma tools to reduce waste and improve throughput
• Analyze production data to identify trends and improvement opportunities
• Create, update, and enforce SOPs across all teams

• Maintain strict adherence to product quality and regulatory standards
• Partner with Quality Assurance to resolve defects and prevent recurrence
• Uphold a clean, safe, and organized work environment

• Monitor and report daily, weekly, and monthly KPIs
• Present performance updates and improvement plans to senior leadership
• Lead initiatives to reduce costs and eliminate bottlenecks

• 1–3 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing (medical devices or orthotics preferred)
• Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and process engineering
• A hands‑on leadership style with excellent communication skills
• Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities
• Experience with production planning tools and manufacturing software
• Ability to excel in a fast‑paced, high‑mix production environment

• Exposure to dust, noise, and chemical odors (plastics, adhesives)
• Standing and walking on concrete floors for extended periods
• Required PPE: CSA‑approved footwear, safety glasses, ear plugs, breathing mask, gloves
