Automotive Paint Technician

Where precision meets performance. Multimatic Motorsports is seeking a skilled Autobody Paint Technician to join our high-performance team.

• Prepare carbon fibre and fiberglass composite components for primer and paint applications.
• Apply coatings using a variety of spray techniques and methods.
• Perform detailed spot repairs using airbrush and spray gun techniques.
• Mix, spray, and verify coatings to achieve precise colour matches.
• Execute two- and three-tone graphics across multiple panels.
• Mask and protect areas as required to ensure high-quality finishes.
• Inspect components throughout all stages of processing to ensure quality standards are met.
• Follow detailed work instructions, mix ratios, and quality control procedures.
• Maintain spray booths, shop tools, and equipment in optimal working condition.
• Use advanced body repair materials and techniques specific to composite components.
• Work safely and maintain an organized workspace in compliance with all safety procedures.
• Collaborate within a dynamic team environment, providing and receiving constructive feedback.

• Hands‑on experience in autobody finishing and repair.
• Proven experience with spot repair and precision colour matching.
• Experience applying multi‑tone graphics across various panels.
• Ability to interpret work instructions and follow precise mix ratios.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver high‑quality results with minimal supervision.
• Understanding of composite component construction (asset).
• Experience in a manufacturing or production environment (asset).

The total cash compensation range for this position is expected to be: $22.80 - $41.83
