Job Title: Quotation Specialist

Reports To: Quotation Team Lead

Department: Quotation

Location: Markham

Pay Range: $50k – $52k

• Receiving and cataloging customer requirements and data packages, translating into Microart’s production ready software, confirming BOM & Gerbers for production readiness.
• Sourcing BOM’s and suggesting alternatives for unattainable components & materials’
• Reviewing mechanical & testing requirements, and quoting accordingly.
• Interfacing with customers if requirements are not understood, or if data required for production is missing
• Elimination of redundant and non‑value add operations & data
• Interface with internal customers being PM’s, BD’s & and CSR’s to ensure project fundamentals are understood cross‑functionally.
• Adherence to Lean manufacturing principles in production developments and process.
• Other duties as assigned

• Intermediate knowledge on Electronic Manufacturing components.
• Strong understanding of active and passive electronic parts.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Quotation role or similar role.
• Enthusiasm for the role and ability to work well independently
• A positive team‑first attitude
• Must have solid communication skills, experience with technical writing, analytical skills, and able to make independent decisions related to the job function.
• Detail oriented, quality conscious, well organized, analytical, and reliable character
• Ability to understand and communicate in written and oral English is essential
• Microsoft Office skills required and essential to success.
