Soldering Specialist

Position: Soldering Specialist at Aerotek
Aerotek is seeking a Soldering Specialist to perform precision soldering and rework of electronic components in Markham, ON. Bring your expertise in hand soldering and quality assurance to our team.

This contract position requires at least two years of experience in an electronics production environment, focusing on through-hole soldering. You will execute hand soldering tasks while ensuring adherence to quality and assembly documentation. Key skills include soldering fine-pitched components and using specialized tools for repair and inspection.

Key Responsibilities:

• Solder axial and radial leaded components on PCBs

• Perform reliable soldering of connectors and packages

• Solder chip components like MELF with precision

• Rework components using Hot Air Reflow tools

• Maintain a clean workspace for optimal efficiency

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in electronics soldering

• Proficient in various soldering techniques

• Effective in using microscopes for tasks

• In-depth knowledge of IPC A-610

• Strong focus on quality and detail
