Magna Powertrain is seeking a skilled Tool and Die Maker with a minimum of 7 years experience in advanced transfer dies.
Your role will involve building tools, managing spare parts, and driving continuous improvements while working collaboratively with European suppliers. Bring your technical skills to a premier supplier within the global automotive industry.
Key Responsibilities:
• Build and maintain tools as directed
• Develop new dies and troubleshoot issues
• Manage spare parts inventory effectively
• Document tooling history accurately
• Establish maintenance intervals for all tooling
Requirements:
• Valid Ontario tool & die maker certificate
• 7+ years experience in fine blanking
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of blueprint reading and GD&T
• Familiarity with CNC programming and metrology
