Electronic Solderer - Weekend Shift

Job Description

The Solderer performs a variety of standard hand soldering tasks across products while consistently applying IPC standards. This role contributes to team productivity and product quality through independent execution of moderately complex soldering work.

• Perform standard hand soldering tasks across products to meet production and quality requirements.
• Apply IPC standards and component handling practices to ensure consistent workmanship.
• Handle moderately complex assemblies independently to support production flow.
• Resolve routine soldering issues to minimize rework and delays.
• Communicate soldering or quality issues clearly within the team.
• Interact regularly with supervisors and Quality Engineers to support quality outcomes.
• Minimize waste and rework through proper techniques and material use.
• Contribute to team productivity and product quality through reliable execution.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

• 2+ years of through-hole soldering experience.
• Experience with the use of a microscope.
• Ability to read and understand assembly documentation.

• Good knowledge of SMT/TH or Mix Tech assemblies as per IPC A-610 standards is required.
• Electronics manufacturing experience is preferred.

The working environment is generally clean, with occasional exposure to dust, metals/solder, high noise levels from operating machines, and physical hazards from moving equipment and machine parts. This is a Contract position based out of Markham, ON.

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a fully onsite position in Markham,ON.
