Use tool and die making, manual machining, and troubleshooting skills at Multimatic Inc. within MWT’s engineering development center. Support quality tooling delivery.
The Tool and Die Maker / Manual Machinist designs, develops, fabricates, and maintains tooling for manufacturing needs. This position works with supervisors, project leaders, designers, apprentices, and engineers. It addresses customer requirements, project timing, part quality, delivery, and potential build issues.
Key Responsibilities:- Plan, design, build, and maintain manufacturing tooling
- Develop manufacturable components with program team members
- Review project direction and communicate program issues
- Maintain job folders, electronic data, and accurate timesheets
- Follow quality procedures, safety rules, and training requirements
- Tool and Die Maker Certification or equivalent
- Five to seven years of tool and die making experience
- Troubleshooting ability for tool design, maintenance, and fabrication
- Knowledge of GD&T, CAD, and Windows applications
- Lift truck and crane safety training completion
