MIG and ARC welding skills support production manufacturing at Meridian Mfg Group. Read drawings, build metal structures, and meet defined welding standards.
This Welder manufactures agricultural storage systems, oil and fuel tanks, custom prototypes, jigs, fixtures, and metal structures. The work includes GMAW and FCAW processes, production drawings, blueprints, and work orders. You will also operate metalworking equipment and overhead cranes.
Key Responsibilities:- Weld production parts using MIG and ARC processes
- Fabricate tanks, structures, prototypes, jigs, and fixtures
- Read blueprints and welding process specifications
- Inspect completed work and sign off work orders
- Maintain equipment and report safety concerns
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
- One to two years of welding experience preferred
- Ability to work independently in busy environments
- Experience with routine maintenance operations
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
