Job Description

We are seeking a General Production Worker for our mechanical assembly team. This role involves small-scale mechanical and manual assembly tasks. Ideal candidates will have experience in assembly processes and be comfortable with using various hand tools and torque drivers.

Responsibilities

• Perform small mechanical assembly tasks without heavy lifting.
• Utilize hand tools and torque drivers effectively.
• Read and comprehend assembly documents in English.
• Through-hole manual assembly responsibilities.
• Maintain production efficiency in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.

Essential Skills

• Minimum of 6 months experience in mechanical assembly.
• Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools.
• Comfortable lifting up to 25lbs.
• Basic computer skills, including MS Office applications such as Excel and Word.
• Experience working in environments with tight deadlines.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Knowledge in electronics.
• First aid certification is a plus.

Work Environment

The work environment is clean with occasional exposure to dust, metals/solder, high noise levels, and physical hazards from moving equipment. This is a Contract position based out of Markham, ON.

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
