• Emergency Department (ER) RN

Key Responsibilities

• Provide safe, patient-centered, evidence-based nursing care.
• Perform assessments, administer medications, and assist with clinical procedures.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.
• Respond to urgent clinical situations and emergencies.
• Maintain accurate documentation and support patient education.

Qualifications

• RN: Licensed or eligible for licensure with NSCN
• Clinical experience in acute care, critical care, med/surg, obstetrics, pediatrics, or rehabilitation is preferred.
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in fast-paced, high-acuity environments.

Required Documents

• Updated Resume – Highlight clinical experience and relevant certifications.
• Criminal Record Check – May include vulnerable sector check depending on your role.
• Proof of Education – Nursing diploma or degree.
• Proof of Valid Nova Scotia Nursing Licence
• Proof of Identity – Passport, driver’s license, or other government-issued .
• Complete Immunization Records – Including:
  Immunization Records: MMR, Varicella, Tdap, Hepatitis B (with titres), TB Screening
• COVID-19 Vaccination Record (including boosters if required)
• Mask Fit Test Certificate (Valid N95 mask fit test)
• Flu Vaccine – Current season.
• Additional Certifications (if applicable) – Examples: ACLS, BLS, CTAS, PALS, TNCC
• COVID-19 Vaccination Proof
• Current Vulnerable sector check

Health & Immunization Requirements
