In this essential role, you will work closely with Registered Nurses and the healthcare team to implement care procedures and meet the needs of residents. You will also support Personal Support Workers with their responsibilities, ensuring every resident's care plan is followed properly. Your participation in shift reports will help maintain effective communication within the team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure professional nursing care follows all standards
• Coordinate with physicians and external healthcare influences
• Lead Personal Support Workers in daily care tasks
• Report on resident status changes during shifts
• Collaborate on updating nursing procedures as necessary
Requirements:
• Certificate from the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Background in long-term or geriatric nursing
• Familiarity with relevant health regulations
• Excellent team collaboration and communication skills
• Passion for delivering compassionate nursing care
