As a Registered Practical Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing compassionate, person-centered care. Focus on assessment, planning, and evaluation processes to enhance residents' well-being. You will also supervise staff, coordinate interdisciplinary care, and maintain effective communication with families and care teams.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform nursing functions per College of Nurses standards
• Supervise Personal Support Workers and direct unit activities
• Monitor residents' conditions and implement care plans
• Maintain regular communication with family members
• Ensure compliance with policies and best practices
Requirements:
• Current Registered Practical Nurse Certificate from CNO
• Previous nursing experience preferred
• CPR certification up to date
• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
• Ability to converse in Chinese is an asset
