As a full-time Registered Practical Nurse, you will collaborate with the Registered Nurse to implement policies and ensure optimal resident care.
Your role will include liaising with physicians and health care teams, monitoring resident statuses, and participating in shift reports. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of residents in long-term care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement Age Care policies in collaboration with Registered Nurse
• Liaise with physicians regarding resident care changes
• Guide Personal Support Workers on care routines
• Participate in daily shift reports with health care teams
• Ensure all residents’ care needs are met effectively
Requirements:
• Current Certificate of Competence from College of Nurses of Ontario
• Background in geriatric or long-term care nursing
• Knowledge of relevant health care regulations and acts
• Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
• Commitment to delivering high-quality nursing care
