Markham Casual Registered Practical Nurse

Join Carecor in Markham as a Casual Registered Practical Nurse, working in the Transitional Care Unit. With flexible shifts, you will provide essential patient care and support.
In this role, you will operate under the guidance of the facility's charge nurse or registered nurse while adhering to the College of Nurses of Ontario regulations. Your focus will be fostering a supportive environment for patients’ physical, social, and emotional well-being during each 8-hour shift in the assigned facility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver patient care per established standards

• Collaborate with healthcare team members

• Monitor patient vital signs and comfort

• Document and report care activities accurately

• Ensure compliance with health protocols
Requirements:

• RPN Diploma with current licensure

• Minimum 300 hours in relevant care settings

• Basic Life Support certification

• N95 Mask Fit Test Certificate required

• Proof of immunizations and negative TB test
