Part-Time Registered Practical Nurse Position

This role is a temporary part-time position for six months with a potential extension. As a Registered Practical Nurse, you'll adhere to nursing standards set by the College of Nurses of Ontario, implement the nursing process, and supervise Personal Support Workers in daily resident care. Effective communication with families and interdisciplinary collaboration is crucial for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform as a Registered Practical Nurse per nursing standards
• Supervise and coach Personal Support Workers on the unit
• Monitor resident health and communicate critical updates
• Manage nursing supplies and ensure medication safety
• Participate in nursing-related committees and care conferences
Requirements:
• Valid Registered Practical Nurse certificate from Ontario
• Previous nursing experience is preferred
• Current CPR certification required
• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
• Ability to converse in Chinese is an asset
