Position: Practical Nurse at AgeCare

As a Practical Nurse, you will play a pivotal role at Age Care by providing dedicated care in a team-oriented nursing setting. Your responsibilities will include supervising Personal Support Workers and liaising with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal resident care. By proactively communicating changes in health status, you will contribute to implementing high standards of care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Offer professional nursing care aligned with Age Care standards

• Provide guidance and support to Personal Support Workers

• Liaise with physicians and other healthcare team members

• Notify doctors of any significant changes in residents

• Engage in comprehensive team reports during shifts
Requirements:

• Current Ontario Certificate of Competence in nursing

• Background in geriatric or long-term nursing

• Knowledge of applicable healthcare regulations

• Strong commitment to quality care and teamwork

• Prior long-term care experience is preferred
