In this Practical Nurse position at Age Care, you will be integral to improving residents' quality of life through professional nursing care. You will guide Personal Support Workers while ensuring effective communication with healthcare partners. Key Responsibilities:
• Offer professional nursing care aligned with Age Care standards
• Provide guidance and support to Personal Support Workers
• Liaise with physicians and other healthcare team members
• Notify doctors of any significant changes in residents
• Engage in comprehensive team reports during shifts
Requirements:
• Current Ontario Certificate of Competence in nursing
• Background in geriatric or long-term nursing
• Knowledge of applicable healthcare regulations
• Strong commitment to quality care and teamwork
• Prior long-term care experience is preferred
