The Registered Practical Nurse plays a crucial role in delivering professional nursing care in long-term care. You will guide Personal Support Workers, communicate with medical teams, and participate in team reports. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide nursing care and support to residents
• Supervise Personal Support Workers on the care team
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals and physicians
• Report significant changes in resident conditions to RN
• Implement Age Care policies and assist in revising procedures
Requirements:
• Strong background in geriatric or long-term care nursing
• Knowledge of relevant health care regulations
• Current Certificate of Competence from College of Nurses
• Member in good standing with the nursing college
• Familiarity with Health and Safety regulations
