As a Registered Practical Nurse, you will perform vital nursing functions in accordance with the College of Nurses of Ontario standards. This temporary role requires effective communication with families and collaboration with healthcare teams to enhance resident care. Your leadership will guide the work of Personal Support Workers, ensuring high-quality service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform nursing functions in compliance with standards
• Consult Team Lead for changes in resident conditions
• Collaborate with physicians and hospitals for care
• Plan and direct Personal Support Workers' tasks
• Participate in nursing committees and care conferences
Requirements:
• Registered Practical Nurse Certificate from Ontario
• CPR Certificate
• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities
• Experience in nursing is an asset
