Emergency Registered Practical Nurse

In this vital role, you will be an integral part of our interprofessional team, working closely with physicians to care for lower acuity emergency patients. Your recent RPN experience in an Emergency Department is essential, along with a focus on patient-centered care. This position requires strong critical thinking, prioritization skills, and the ability to educate patients effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with care for emergency patients alongside physicians

• Provide patient education and teaching as needed

• Participate in minor procedures and suture removal

• Perform physical assessments with accuracy

• Maintain excellent communication within an interprofessional team

Requirements:

• Certificate of Registration with the College of Nurses

• Current BLS certification

• Recent experience in an Emergency Department

• Completion of accredited Coronary Care 1 program or equivalent

• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
