This role requires you to adhere to the standards set by the College of Nurses of Ontario. You will supervise the Personal Support Workers, coordinate patient care, and maintain effective family communication. Emphasizing a culturally inclusive service model, you will enrich the lives of older adults under your care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct nursing assessments and develop care plans for residents
• Provide supervision to Personal Support Workers effectively
• Keep medication records accurate and up-to-date
• Lead interdisciplinary care conferences for thorough patient care
• Offer mentorship to healthcare students and peers
Requirements:
• Current certification as a Registered Practical Nurse in Ontario
• Preferred previous nursing experience in a geriatric setting
• Valid CPR certification required
• Excellent leadership and customer service abilities
• Ability to converse in Chinese is advantageous
