Yee Hong Centre is offering a six-month temporary part-time position for a Registered Practical Nurse, with the possibility of extension. In this role, you will be responsible for supervising Personal Support Workers, monitoring resident health, and ensuring medication safety. Your contribution will be vital in a culturally inclusive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform as a Registered Practical Nurse according to standards
• Supervise Personal Support Workers on duties
• Monitor residents' health and relay updates
• Manage nursing supplies and medication safety
• Join nursing committees and care conferences
Requirements:
• Valid Ontario Registered Practical Nurse certification
• Preferably some nursing experience
• Must possess current CPR certification
• Proven leadership and problem-solving skills
• Chinese language ability is a plus
