We are looking for a Registered Practical Nurse to deliver high-quality care in Markham. In this part-time role, you will be pivotal in coordinating care and supervising staff, contributing to a resident-centered environment. Your problem-solving and judgement skills will be crucial for effective communication and managing resident needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee daily operations and staff in the nursing unit
• Assess and document residents’ health conditions
• Communicate effectively with families for timely updates
• Supervise and mentor Personal Support Workers
• Ensure compliance with health regulations and standards
Requirements:
• Valid Registered Practical Nurse certificate from Ontario
• Previous nursing experience preferred
• Current CPR certification required
• Excellent problem-solving and customer service skills
• Satisfactory police vulnerable sector screen needed
