As an RPN, you will coordinate with health care teams to implement policies and ensure residents receive tailored care. Your experience in geriatric nursing will guide your work with Personal Support Workers and contribute to the holistic care of our residents, ensuring compliance with relevant health regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement and revise nursing procedures as needed
• Communicate with the health care team and external partners
• Address residents' changing needs collaboratively
• Provide guidance to Personal Support Workers on best practices
• Conduct shift reports for continuity of care
Requirements:
• Comprehensive understanding of long-term care nursing
• Current Certificate of Competence from the College of Nurses
• Knowledge of applicable health care laws
• Valid membership with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Familiarity with nursing standards and practice regulations
