As a Registered Practical Nurse, you will supervise daily unit staff while coordinating comprehensive care for residents. Expected to engage in effective nursing practices, your skills in leadership, problem-solving, and customer service will ensure high-quality care. Stay compliant with nursing standards and maintain effective communication with families for timely updates on resident well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

• Consult with Team Lead on residents' conditions

• Implement nursing processes including assessment and documentation

• Communicate regularly with family members for updates

• Plan and direct Personal Support Workers’ activities

• Ensure compliance with safety and medication management standards

Requirements:

• Current RPN Certificate from the College of Nurses of Ontario

• CPR Certification and nursing experience preferred

• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills

• Computer literacy and good customer service abilities

• Valid Police Vulnerable Sector Screen required
