As a full-time Occupational Health Nurse, you will manage employee illness and injury-related absences, ensuring effective return-to-work processes. Collaborate with the Director of Occupational Health & Safety to develop and evaluate health programs. Your expertise will also drive the health promotion and wellness activities within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage cases of employee absences due to injury/illness
• Assess medical documents and support modified duties
• Maintain confidential health records as per guidelines
• Act as a contact point for accommodation processes
• Collaborate with stakeholders for efficient case resolution
Requirements:
• Registered Nurse with Ontario registration
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree
• Occupational Health Nursing Diploma or Certification
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in relevant field
• Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation
