Join SE Health as an Occupational Health Nurse and excel in managing employee health cases in a dynamic, hybrid environment. This position will allow you to make a meaningful impact through health and safety initiatives.
In this permanent, full-time role based in Ontario, you will lead the management of employee absences due to health issues. Collaborate closely with the Director of Occupational Health & Safety on various program developments and evaluations. Your expertise in case management will ensure employee wellness and organizational compliance with safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead disability case management for employee absences
• Evaluate medical documentation for functional limitations
• Maintain accurate and confidential health records
• Communicate empathetically with employees regarding accommodations
• Work with healthcare providers for case resolution
Requirements:
• Active Registered Nurse with College of Nurses of Ontario
• Bachelor’s in Nursing and Occupational Health certification
• At least 5 years’ experience in occupational health
• Deep understanding of workplace health legislation
• Ability to handle sensitive medical information responsibly
