You will provide support to all Oak Valley Health sites including RCC. In addition, you will utilize your demonstrated clinical leadership skills, well-developed analytical, problem-solving, delegation and interpersonal skills to assist you in the provision of quality patient care. Your excellent clinical leadership skills will assist you in working with the Interdisciplinary Health Care Team in the further development of programs to enhance and support patient care.Created with Sketch.
Goals
You will practice in an environment where the emphasis is on professional practice and customer satisfaction. Using your clinical expertise, you will, in collaboration with the IDHCT, be responsible for patients within any clinical area of hospital including admitted patients within the Emergency Department. You will be accountable for the development of comprehensive patient care plans and patient education plans, which reflect your ongoing assessment focusing on the patient's goals.Requirements

Minimum 2 years of recent acute medicine nursing experience required. Graduate from a recognized Registered Practical Nursing two-year diploma program. Current RPN registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario. Experience on the LTC environment preferred. Current BCLS certification.Experience with patient health teaching. Knowledge
Demonstrate knowledge of IPAC practice and following outbreak protocols. Demonstrate adherence to the organization's code of conduct. Advance Physical Assessment Skill is required. Excellent organizational skills with an ability to set priorities. Critical thinking and prioritization skills required. Excellent organizational skills and ability to problem solve with the team.
