As an RPN at Age Care Gibson, you will ensure residents receive exceptional nursing care as per established policies. Collaborating with other healthcare professionals, you’ll contribute to treatment plans and proactively respond to changes in residents' conditions. Your guidance will also support Personal Support Workers on the care team, forming a crucial part of the healthcare delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement care plans in collaboration with Registered Nurses

• Communicate effectively with physicians and healthcare team members

• Collaborate to address resident care needs promptly

• Provide direction to Personal Support Workers in caregiving

• Participate in shift reports for effective team communication

Requirements:

• Background in geriatric or long-term care nursing

• Familiarity with relevant healthcare laws and regulations

• Current Certificate of Competence from the College of Nurses of Ontario

• Knowledge of health promotion and protection practices

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
